Great tip for open water shots and about medium game. Had it mounted on a 12 inch injector shaft on a big game polespear.

Great workmanship , I only wish that the flopper was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long instead of 1 1/4 inch long

I bought a spear rod right before a trip and caught many spiny lobsters and fish in Bimini. It performed fantastically. I do, however, have helpful feedback about the site. After selecting the pole spear, the site recommended various tips. I chose one and finished my order. When the gear arrived I found the top also needed an adaptor. By that time I was a few days away from traveling and I called Mako to make the purchase. I explained what happened and they got the product in the mail for me that day. I would have like to have had the shipping for free but they didn't offer that, just a few dollars off. It's hard to get good customer feedback and I think it would have been smart to comp the whole thing. It's not a huge complaint and mostly my review is to help them with their site and inform others who use the site for purchases that they need to double check they are getting gear that works together.
