Item Description

MAKO Spearguns Chin Strap Head Band Combo for GoPro

Warning: YOU WILL LOSE YOUR GO PRO!!!

It’s not a matter of if. It’s a matter of when.

Internet forums are full of reports of divers loosing their GoPro because they did not have a chin strap on their head bands.

Many of my own customers have said, “Dano, man, you need to come up with a chin strap for the head band.”

Well, I did it! And it works. Not only does the Chin Strap Head Band Combo prevent your GoPro from coming off your head, while diving, it will also allow you to push the GoPro back so you can put your mask on your forehead without your Go Pro falling off.

NOTE: I strongly recommend the MAKO Spearguns Status Mirror be purchased with the “Chin Strap-Head Band Combo”. This little mirror will tell you if you are recording or not. Awesome product!

Dive safe, guys.

    So far so good

Having lost one GoPro in the past and almost losing another one due to the inadequate OEM head mount, this is a godsend. Could be a little easier to adjust, but so far it has stayed on with no issues. My only gripe is I wish the attachment point for the GoPro had "ratchets" or stops so that you aren't having to constantly push forward or push back the camera where it is attached, as it seems to move around somewhat depending on what you do underwater. A positive "stop" mechanism with multiple stops would be ideal as some people like the camera to be angled down somewhat, and others may like it more horizontal or vertical to their forehead.
