The MAKO Spearguns Lion Fish 3 prong Cluster Tip is designed specifically for hunting and killing the invasive Lion Fish.

I get a lot of lion fish with this spear. The spear and the replacement tips are good. I have not had a tip fail, but I decided that the 3 prong is better suited for the lion fish than the 5 prong. Teflon tape is a good way to keep the pole and spear from naturally unscrewing.
Works alright for most lion fish but ended up going to the 5 prong barbed tip.
Didn't get a chance to use these on any lionfish was too rough the water but is constructed with the same material as the other heads which held up after missing fish and hitting reef...
