California Kevlar Dive Gloves

Hey Guys,
These are the UGLIEST gloves you will ever see, but no other dive gloves are warmer and more durable than the MAKO Spearguns California Kevlar dive gloves.

I am totally stoked with my “Kevlar Jacketed Yamamoto Diving Gloves”, specifically made for California Divers who dive in cold and rocky waters.

Built specifically for California divers who demand the best in quality, these MAKO Spearguns California Kevlar Dive Gloves have a Kevlar jacket for enhanced protection against rocks and shellfish.

And we didn’t stop there. Take a look at the seams. All seams have been welded with a bead of latex to provide unmatched strength and durability, thus making these gloves THE MOST DURABLE DIVE GLOVES AVAILABLE.

But what about comfort? Check this out…The ergonomic 3D design means these gloves have the natural curve that matches the natural curve of the relaxed position of your hands. That not only makes them comfortable, it adds agility and dexterity as well.

Oh yeah..One more thing… Did I mention these are made of Yamamoto Neoprene? Like all MAKO Spearguns wetsuits, socks and gloves, these California Kevlar Dive Gloves are also made with the highest quality neoprene in the world (Yamamoto).

Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large & XX-Large
Thickness: 3mm or 5mm

MAKO DIRECT PRICE: Only $44.95 pair! Don’t let this low price fool you. These are high quality, high performance, Yamamoto/Kevlar Diving Gloves. The reason I can offer these badass gloves for such an amazing price is because I sell direct to you, the diver instead of through dive shops.

And, because we sell direct to divers, these MAKO Spearguns California Kevlar Dive Gloves, made of genuine Yamamoto neoprene, actually cost less than non Yamamoto dive gloves that are sold in dive shops.

If you have any questions about these or any other MAKO Spearguns products, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Dive safe,

A special thanks to the guys from San Francisco and Norcal Underwater Hunters who helped me in testing these badass gloves!

Tough construction with plenty of flexibility.  3mm allows for sufficient dexterity to efficiently operate my gun.  Palm pads provide good grip for wrangling a slippery fish.  Fit is snug around palms but a tad roomy at the finger tips.  Overall great gloves and would recommend to a fellow diver.

Confidently putting my fingers where fingers shouldn't normally be put ;-).

5 of 5 These are tough! December 13, 2019
Reviewer: Per Jorgensen from Overland Park, KS United States
I just came back from putting a pair of these through some torture in Norway, wrenching mussels out of cracks in barnacle-crusted rocks. Not a scratch in them.

They're also comfortable, easy to put on, and plenty flexible for handling the speargun, shooting line, clips, and whatnot. You lose some fingertip feel, and it was hard to flip the recording toggle on my camera on and off by feel, but I consider that a necessary sacrifice in return for being able to use my hands without having to worry about the gloves cutting or tearing.

As far as appearance goes, that's not a criterion for me, but for what it's worth they look a lot better when you're actually wearing them. Don't let the looks turn you off from these.

5 of 5 Super durable December 13, 2019

I’ve been using these for a month now diving in Alaska and spearing salmon. This requires hugging the bottom and grabbing barnacled rocks to hold yourself in the current. It can be really hard on gloves. These gloves have held up astonishingly well. The Kevlar shows no signs of wear, whereas with other gloves I’ve used in the past I would be reaching for the aquaseal by now. Highly recommend.

Excellent gloves...the best I've ever owned.
I probably spearfish 80- 100 days a year in Southern California. I just bought a replacement pair for when my first pair of Kevlar gloves wear out. I used to burn through several pairs of gloves per year. I'm very happy to have finally found some gloves that have already lasted a whole season.
